Another name for it is Jack Frost Big Boulder. The Big Boulder Ski Resort started before the Jack Frost, but both are considered to be one, now. The scenic Poconos mountains are ideal for skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and terrain parks. This is a year-round resort offering hiking, boating, fishing and relaxing when the snow isn’t falling. There are also classes for skiing, snowboarding and tubing.

Jack Frost offers festivals throughout the whole year. One of them is the popular Poconos Blues Festival held in late July for three days. Another annual fest is the Tribute Festival, held on a Saturday in July. This festival pays tribute to classic rock groups in an amphitheater setting. There are also vendors, food and fireworks to round off the day. Held on Columbus Day weekend in October, the Arts and Crafts Festival highlights fine art, country crafts, and a classic car show. It is also a beautiful time of year to enjoy the fall foliage.
